NFS Undercover 3D

Need For Speed Undercover 3D is one great game. I just the chance of playing it for the first time a few days ago and wow did it blow me away. Now I was hoping there would be more a selection when it comes to the cars but I guess you can't always get what you want, although the selection was pretty decent. Rides included Shelby GT, Porsche 911, Nissan GT-R, BMW M3, and more. The graphics are great because not only is the cars 3D, so are the environments which I think are the highlight of the game. There are several environments, which give the perspective to be fully 3D, including towing buildings, underpasses, and stadiums. This gives the feeling that your playing the full console version on your mobile. The gameplay is also much worth it, actually I think this is one of the most fun and easiest to control mobile racing games available. The game also offers drifting for around corners and plenty of variety in gameplay. Its not just race for 3 laps. Finished. It offers challenges from police chases to drag racing. This game is definitely a major step up from previous Need for Speed Mobile titles.
(Warning: There are a few versions of this game out there that aren't the real deal. This one is the real deal).

DOOM 3 - 3D!!!!

Wow. I never thought I'd see the day when a good version of Doom would come out for the mobile, especially after Doom RPG. Not only has an actual 3D version come out, but it's also Doom 3! I still don't understand how this game was accomplished. There is such much that needed to go into this game. Now granted, the game seems a bit sluggish, but its still a fun and still unbelievable. The gameplay is typical Doom. Awesome. If you own a phone, you need this game.

Tomb Raider Underworld 3D

This game just recently has been released for major consoles including a mobile version. The game has many elements of a Tomb Raider game, but there were some limitations when making a mobile version. Overall, the game is well structured and easy to play with one hand (something you might not expect). Instead of a free roaming system, the camera is fixed from behind in a third person but your range is limited to the path you are on only. Pretty much you got to follow a path and chose different paths according to your decisions (kinda like a board game). Graphics wise this game looks clean. Everything runs smoothly. This isn't like those wannabe 2D side scrollers that never live up to the name. They actually took some time into this one.

SpeedRacer 3D

Well. Those expecting a cheaply made movie-game wannabe game that never lives up to anyones expectations please look elsewere. Yes. Thats right. This is one of those RARE occasions that a "movie-game" is actually well worth your time, not only is it worth playing, its a MUST HAVE for this platform. This game blew my mind. Alright. Im not going to lie. I was expecting the worse, thinking "Here we go again, a game that could be awesome, but developers just half assed just to make a few extra bucks on the side", but was I wrong. The first few screens looked a little childish and cheesy, but when it cut to gametime, all those thoughts left my head. The graphics are incredible for a mobile. Not only that, but handling of car in the game is one the best I've seen so far on mobile (a HUGE problem in many other mobile racing games: NFS ProStreet, Fast and the Furious....many more). It had me at the handling, but if that wasn't enough, the camera actually moves along with the car in 3D. Thats right. When your makin that tight-ass U turn, the camera actually repositions itself, and zooms in so you can see what your doing. Not to mention that the backgrounds and tracks are astounding. One of the best features on this game is the ability to race upside down, left to right, right to left, down spirals. Awesome! Oh yeah, and you can use the jumpers too.

Critter Crunch

This game is addicting. Although it seems simple, the game makes you want to keep on crunchin'. The object is to eat as many critters by throwing other critters at each other in a food chain effect. Sounds confusing right? One you play it for 30 seconds, you'll be hooked.

3 Style Snowboarding

Today, I got to try out 3 Style Snowboarding for java and looking at the shots of it, I wasn't getting too excited. No this game doesn't have the greatest graphics or sound you've ever seen on a mobile, but it is sure a good time. Don't expect some pS3 graphics. It's just a simple snowboarding game. When your just tryin to burn up 5 minutes, load this one up.

Bouncy

This simple yet great game caught my eye just by the name. I was thinking just a simple game to pass the time while your waiting, and I was right. Hangin out for 5 minutes? Just pick this game up and you'll be entertained. The game is simple. Bounce around and avoid things. This game is addictive. Check it out.

Sorry no screenshots yet. Im working on it.

Sonic Jump

I have always been a fan of Sonic games, and this game is no exception. Although it strays away from the classics, this game still delivers. This is the kind of game where you can pick it up play it for 5 minutes then drop it. The game consists of Sonic jumping from tile to tile. The object is to get to the top without falling. Fairly simple. The only beef I have with this game is that the backround is really distracting and complex. They should have kept it simple. Anyway check it out.

Micro Counter Strike 3D

Well I was really excited when I first saw this game. Finally Counter Strike comes to the mobile phone. Don't get your hopes up though. The game is still in its beta phase although it's still great to mess around with. The game lags, but it is still a full 3D shooter. Check it out.

Midnight Pool

This classic game is one that everyone needs to get for their phone. The game is easy. Play pool. That's probably why it is such a fun and addicting game. The layout and gameplay is great and it keeps you coming back for more. I gives you an overview of the whole table from above and shows you all the tricks to get your game up. No fancy 3D views here, just an enjoyable experience. Im addicted.

Deep

This is a very nice game available from Fishlabs. Deep immerses you into a 3D underwater world where your need to catch fish and fight off other enemies. This game gives you a console like feel on the go. It also keeps you interested with a unique storyline. There are various weapons, shields, and upgrades along the way. Deep combines strategy with shooter. Check it out below:

Sorry All!

20Q

I remember when this came out a few years ago. Everyone was talking about it. The little piece of plastic wiwizardry that could read your mind. Years later, the same game is now available on your phone. The game consists of a computer asking you 20 questions before if reveals what your thinking. I could sit around and play it for hours and try to figure out how it works. Its definitely a great game I didn't even expect to find on a phone. If your looking to waste a few minutes or impress, check this little game out.

Super Taxi Driver

Thats right. Remember Crazy Taxi? Well Super Taxi Driver is its twin brother. With same basic setup as Crazy Taxi, Super Taxi brings the fun of the console game to the mobile. The game features a 3D city that is rather impressive for a mobile game, although the frame rate is a bit choppy. The gameplay is simple. Pick up a passenger and take them to their destination. You'll get the hang of things once you get used to the map. If your looking to kill a few minutes, pick up this game.

Planet Riders

Now that I've seen what Fishlabs has been doing in its previous games, I've been a big fan of playing all their games. Planet Riders is a futuristic racer where you drive an insane jet-space-ship-thing humanly impossible fast speeds. You know what kinda game I'm talking about. Anyway, the gameplay itself is actually quite fun, consisting of full 3D levels and models. Not a surprise from Fishlabs. The controls are good too, unlike plenty of other racing games I've played on the mobile. The one thing that makes this game stand out from the crowd is its bluetooth capabilities. Planet Riders allows you to link up via bluetooth to race and compete. It had me sold at bluetooth.

Aero Mission 3D

I've always liked flying games. So when I say this 3D java game, I jumped on it. The game is simple. Dogfight to the death. The game play is great for being able to play a full 3D flight game on your phone. The only downfall is that is somewhat monotonous in which you shoot down the same plane 300 times. Another slight downfall is that is short. Graphically is game is what I'd expect from Fishlabs: Great. Overall satisfying for getting your fill of shoot someone down to a firey oblivion. Check it out.

Motorola S9. Amazing.

Review
A few years ago, as the digital age of music began, I began to think ahead of my time. As everyone was pluggin' in their 'phones, I thought to myself, "I wonder when we will be able to listen to music with no wires?" I thought about ways to do this for years and was half tempted to patent the idea. Next thing you know, Bluetooth came to the horizon. I thought, "Wow. That would be perfect. If you can have a conversation over Bluetooth, why not music?" What do you know. They release the first Bluetooth music set. Yea I felt like shit. Anyway, ever since then, Ive been all about the wireless. So I decided to buy a pair of Motorola S9 headphones. They were the sleekest Bluetooth headphones available.

I wasn't expecting the greatest sound quality from these things, being that its wireless Bluetooth, but wow did it surprise me. The sound quality, in my opinion, is actually alot better than many of the headphones out there on the market, even more so than the ipod headphones. Actually, I think these are the highest quality in-ear headphones I own. If your not amazed by the sound quality, there are plenty more features that will win you over. The Motorola S9 weighs in at just barley an ounce. And if that didn't get you, the S9 has the ability to control the volume, change tracks, play and stop, and answer call all without even touching the phone. And guess what else. You can even voice-dial and redial without the phone too. The best part about is that you can get them cheap too. Unlike the ATT store trying to take some more money out of you, charging $129 for them, I managed to pick a pair at ThriftyComputer.com for $45. The service over at ThrityComputer.com is top notch as well, so you'll have a hassle free transaction and quick shipment.

Need For Speed Carbon

Im a big racing game fan. Especially the 3D racing games for mobile. But finding a good 3D racing game for the mobile is a real task. There are other nice looking games out there, but finding one with the balance of all good factors is rare, especially for the mobile. First off, the graphics for this game are great. Another factor that makes NFS Carbon rise above all the other racing games is the handleing. Unlike alot of mobile racing games out there that look pretty, but it feels like your trying to drive a washing machine, NFS greatest aspect is it's control over the car. It is the most supierior I have ever run across on a mobile. And guess what else. It's a full 3D city. Check this one out.

Motoraver

I recently got this game because I'm big on the whole 3D mobile gaming thing. I saw a few screenshots of it and decided to check it out. The thing I like alot about this game is that it is a free roaming type of game. It gives it a Grand Theft Auto kind of feel. Motoraver give you a full 3D city to roam in a variety of different cars. And guess what else. Oh yea. There are cops too. Definitely check this one out.

Star Wars Imperial Ace

After seeing many disappointing Star Wars mobile games come and go, Imperial Ace brings the series to the world of 3D mobile gaming. Imperial Ace consists of a being-the-ship point of view as you dogfight the rebels. Graphically the game is great consisting of 3D spaceflight. And guess what else. You can even fly inside asteroids. Overall the game is well constructed although a little short. Definitely check this out if your a fan.

SimCity Societies

We all loved SimCity. EAmobile has currently released a new addition to the Sim family, SimCity Societies. With updated graphics and buildings, Societes creates a fresh new look and brings brand new senerios. And guess what else. You can even see the people walking. I've been waiting for that since the first SimCity mobile release.

Rally Master Pro

This game is one of the most graphically impressive games I have ever seen on java. The game is obviously a rally racing game, but it kicks it up a notch from previous mobile rally games such as V-Rally. You wont find any fake 2D cutouts in the background of this game. Rally Master features full 3D tracks and physics giving you an amazing console like feel. It honestly feels like your playing a Playstation game. And guess what else. When you slam your car into a tree a few times. Yep. Your hood falls off. The cars in Rally Master actually can take damage. Anyone who has a phone needs to check out this game. It is truly an amazing feat in the field of mobile java.
